My May 24 weekend was ridiculous. Six girls and one boy for the weekend, plus a mish mash of neighbors from other cottages.

Some key phrases from the weekend:

Rhi and I arrived at 11:00pm and the party had been going on all day so we needed to catch up, which we did quite quickly. Interesting combo Tums, Hooters and a 50.

Day two started with family breakfast (pancakes, bacon and eggs) made by Krista and Pierre and then Tiffany broke out her refreshing breakfast beverage which cued the rest of us to crack open our first drinks of the day.

We tandem biked, found wood, drank, played Cranium, had a dance party and more friends showed up to party on Saturday night. Some of us went to bed around 4am and some of us stayed up til the morning. Sunday’s drive home was painful. I ate two Big Macs this weekend (substitute fries for meat) and McDonald’s actually has a button for “no meat” but no veggie patties to replace it with.

I’m humming “Papa Don’t Preach” and Tonya’s trying to figure it out….
