I was just catching up on my blog reading when I saw this video on Marcus‘ site of Bucky from Down With Webster in Mexico fighting a bull! You’re the bravest Town.

DWW at Sound Academy

Friday night was the DWW show at Sound Academy. It was an awesome show, the boys did amazing as usual and it was great to see such a huge crowd out. I had an interesting time to say the least. I lost the entire group of people I usually hang out with and while looking for them I bumped into a bunch of random people I hadn’t seen in a while and then finally made my way upstairs to and watched the rest of the show with my Mom & Aunty Judy and the other families. Kat and I chilled after she was relieved from Merch duties. Bonus to being up there was that the label people bought Kat & I drinks and shots of Tequila.

I skipped out on the after party at Mod Club and got a ride home with Mom, but from what I hear it was a blast.

Every year we get together with the DWW family and friends for a holiday party. It’s so nice to have everyone together for some holiday cheer. This year the kids all left the party around 11 to meet up with the rest of our friends at the Gull. It’s a fairly small place when the patio is closed and we filled it up fast. People were even waiting in line to get in and some unfortunately were turned away because they were at capacity. I think it’s probably the busiest that place has ever been.

It’s great to get together to celebrate and I love that we’re all one big family. These are the times we’ll look back on and remember when everyone is traveling the world for their careers.

DWW CD Release Party

What an insane week I had last week. Every day and every night was filled with something to do. Thursday was probably one of the most fun night’s we’ve all had in a long time. The long awaited CD release party for Down With Webster’s debut major label album It’s Time To Win Vol. 1.

The boys had been working hard for the past month rehearsing and planning some surprises for us. I’d been begging Kyle to tell me secrets, but he kept his mouth shut. Everyone was there. All the families, friends, fans and industry people we know. The Phoenix was packed. We then went to a private afterparty, maybe at Cheval? I have no idea though…haha! There was a bus waiting outside the club to take us to the afterparty and by that time we were all a little drunky.

They put on an amazing show, complete with the Hamilton Ti-Cats drumline, a wicked guitar solo by Pat, drinks, partying and crowd surfing. I am so proud of all of the guys in Down With Webster and I’m excited for things to come. You boys are definitely Winning!!

At the after party. This is James. He is a producer and also plays guitar in DWW sometimes. It was his birthday that night and we all sang to him twice. I love James. Coo-hoo!

I ran into a bunch of people I knew, but in my ah, blurry state of mind, I forgot to take photos until the end of the night. The is me and Jay from USS.

It's Time To Win vol. 1

Yesterday was a very big day for Down With Webster. Their album was released and hit the stores! Congrats to my favourite boys ever. I’m proud of all of you and can’t wait for everything to come.

In honour of the release, they did an acoustic performance at Boathouse at Yonge & Dundas and after the set signed autographs and took photos with fans.

DWW at VFest 2009

A few weeks late on posting this.

Down With Webster played VFest on August 29. It was awesome, as DWW always is. My sis and I got tickets from our brother (yeah free tickets) and met up with the band, some friends and other siblings. We had a good spot for the show and afterwards chilled in the 19+ area. Here are my photos.

I was trying to get Town and ended up with a sweet pose from Diggy

I was sitting across the patio and looked over to see what my brother was doing. He was winning, so I had to capture it.

Then we went backstage to find a place to chill.

The waves were crazy big and they were crashing against the rocks.

After the show we went for drinks and bonfire at Diggy’s. So fun.
