New Moon Clip

Today is one month until the release of New Moon.  To celebrate Summit Entertainment has released a new, free clip via iTunes with an intro from Taylor Lautner.  I have read the first three Twilight books now and I am anxiously waiting for Breaking Dawn to come out in paperback.  I can’t fathom paying $30 for a hardcover version of the book when the paperback is half price.  I’m really interested to see how different the next film is from the book.

New Moon Photos

Perez Hilton just posted a link to the Los Angeles Times‘ “Hollywood Backlot” on the New Moon set.  David Strick was lucky enough to be on set in April of ‘09 at Capilano Park Forest as the cast and crew shot scenes late at night, until at least 4am.

Here are a few of my favourites.  Make sure you check out the rest of the online gallery here, there are 41 photos in total.  I honestly can’t wait for the movie to come out on November 20, apparently tickets are already selling fast, so I’ll probably have to wait til it comes out on DVD.

I thought it was cool to see real animals on set and so close to the actors.  I guess a trained white wolf is just like a dog, but look how big they are compared to the trainer.

Can you believe that Taylor Lautner is only 17?

He is my favourite vampire character so far.  There’s just something about him.

I think that Kristen Stewart is gorgeous.  She is such a classic beauty.

New Moon Trailer

I’m such a nerd.  I love Twilight.  I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago and I feel in love with the story, the characters, and got completely caught up in the magic of it.

The New Moon trailer was available again on Perez Hilton and I have watched it twice already.  Both times made me so excited and my stomach got butterflies.  Here it is for your viewing pleasure.

I’m hooked.  I haven’t read the books yet and I’m going to as soon as I can.  If anyone has a copy they would lend to me I’m dying to read it.  I wonder how the two will compare.

You Might As Well Live Premiere

On Fri. Aug 28 we went to the You Might As Well Live Premiere at Bloor Cinema.  It was such a fun night of family and friends.  Kristin and I raced to get ready and hopped in a cab to the cinema.  If you weren’t there, you definitely missed out on a fun night.  Make sure you check it out in theatres this week!  It’s a hilarious movie.

This is the best dress I’ve seen my sister wear.  She looked like a disco ball and had silver disco ball shoes on too.

After the film there was a Q&A.  Blurry photo but from L-R is Kristin, Julian Riching, Greg Bryk, Josh Peace (Robert Mutt) and Simon Ennis the Director.  The other two guys are a news critic and the Weatherman in the film.  I forget his name.

Most of the time Josh talked about Poo and Penis’.  He wore a very very very small, disgustingly hairy prosthetic in one of the scenes and he actually brought it with him.  Later on that night when I was drunk and talking to him he pulled it out, the prosthetic, and I touched it.  So disgusting.

Here we are after the film and before heading to the afterparty.  Nicole, Ally, Dad and Kristin.  Just to Kristin’s left is about 6 boys (DWW) and Dad was sitting in between all the girls.  He’s the best.

Here is me trying to take a nice photo of Ally, Kyle and I while Kristin is crouched on the ground.  So funny.  We were trying to stay out of the rain but it just kept raining harder and harder.

See how good I am at using a camera?

And finally to the Douchebag Dance Off.  hahaha.  This was so much fun!  There were so many friends here and we all got super sauced.

Town and Kyle umbrella dancing.  Town saved Kristin’s life with a wifebeater.  He’s the best ever.  Love you Town!

And this is how the night ended.  I took Kristin home and Kyle, Diggy and Shaun were at my house drinking still.  So they made me a drink.  It was Bushmills and Pineapple/Passionfruit juice.  Ugh.  So gross.

Go see You Might As Well Live RIGHT NOW!

Trailer for You Might as Well Live!!

Just got an update on the You Might As Well Live Weekend!

Friday night, as I mentioned, is the Premiere at Bloor Cinema – and it is open to the public!  I’ll be there with my sister and the rest of the cast and crew.  There will be media, bloggers AND Down With Webster is coming out.  Afterwards we’re all heading over to the Annex Wreckroom for the Douchebag Dance Party.  Yes, that’s right.

For all of you who can’t make it out on Friday, there is still a chance to see and meet the Cast.  On Saturday night at the AMC Yonge & Dundas there will be a Q&A after the film with members of the Cast!

Here’s the trailer to get you excited.
