Sunday Funday
Sunday Funday is my favourite. It doesn’t happen as often as I like because CT has band usually on Sundays.
We got a bit of a later start because Saturday was birthday bash extravaganza day. We had six parties to go to (I know so popular) and only made it to two. Bryan’s 30th and Ty’s 24th/DWW Celebration. More on that later.
I always make Chad go first when we’re bike riding so I can try to keep up with his pace. I’m a little out of shape and slower than he is.
We rode to Ed Levesque’s for the breakfast. It’s pretty close, Leslie & Queen E.
I want a bottle like this for water at home. I like it.
My mom had the same menu – take it or leave it!
Back of the menu.
I had the omlette of the day minus chicken – Roma tomato and avocado. Avocado is so unbelieveably good in omlettes. I was going to take a picture when it arrived but was soo excited to eat it I forgot.
Scrambled eggs with Truffle Oil, some really good cheese (maybe emmanthol?) and red onions. Sooo good.
Spicy cornbread. I am a spice wuss and it made my face red instantly. Chad liked it though.
I absolutely love this restaurant and recommend it for breakfast. It’s a U shaped dining room and the food is fabulous.
The only part of the meal that was unpleasant was the woman next to us. She ordered a homemade chicken pot pie (which they bake to order) and it took a while to come out. So she complained that the people around her (us included) got our breakfast (eggs, salad and bacon) before her and made a huge stink about it. She was rude to the waiter and complained loudly to her friend. She also had one of those ridiculous blue tooth earpieces in the whole time. How are you that important on Sunday morning at breakfast that you need to wear your earpiece. Ugh she annoyed me.
After breakfast we rode bikes to Price Chopper to grab some food for dinner and then back home. I had a nap because the ride wore me out and got up to make yummy stir fry and vermicelli noodles for dinner.
Family Guy and Simpsons were both hilarious last night. Loved Peter the Mermaid and Lisa on Ritalin (or something like it). Oh and American Dad had a Delorian! There have been a group of Delorian’s hanging out in the parking lot down by the Beach. I’ll get a photo and post soon!
